IDENTITY DESIGN
And Story is Johannesburg's most sought after wedding photography studio. A couple themselves, founders Melanie and Reinhardt, each brings a distinct personality to their brand. Melanie has a classic sense of feminine style, while Reinhardt is the outgoing, cool character - always in the know on new trends. Between them, they have created a bespoke wedding photography style that is fresh and youthful, while still managing to keep a timelessness that allows couples to enjoy their wedding photographs for years to come.
Because Melanie and Reinhardt are always personally involved with their shoots, they are as much a part of the brand as their photography. And so, for their identity, I wanted to bring across each of their personalities. I did this with a combination of black and white elements – creating two distinct though harmonious looks that could be used singularly or combined as required.
The logo design is playful with a number of alternatives which could be used in various formats. From there, we created corporate stationery and packaging design to present clients with their final photographs and files.
